BorderZone Arts, Inc. is a community-based (501c3) international arts and cultural program organization, founded in 2000 to address the needs of Indigenous, historically under-represented and emerging artists in the wider contemporary art world.  We work to promote and facilitate artistic exchange among artists and arts organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area with other local, national and international organizations.

Collaboration is Key to our Approach

As part of our out-reach activities, we work with local and international artists and arts organizations to locate venues and alternative spaces for artistic works, and develop sites for exhibits and workshops, such as universities, community centers, museums, and schools.  Our efforts are aimed at collaborative projects that help to strengthen and improve community development and sustainability through the arts.
